Press Releases

  • 2012 3820 Party
In honor of K6VHP/sk (Shally), there will be a party at W9PCi's home on July 14th.  Please email w9pci@w9pci.com or kertektv@charter.net with your intent to attend and number of people in your party.

Kerry (KK6OS) & Cheri (no call) will be coordinating the food and spirits.  They are having the event catered. Contact Kerry for the catering details and costs.

Arlen (W9PCi) and Tina (no call) will be hosting the event for a second time at their home in Oregon.  Please see www.pcime.com for directions and information about local accommodations.  Click this link www.pcime.com/contact/contact.htm for directions and Google Map.

Please note special instructions for those who intend to use a GPS (the routing engine in most  of the popular GPS devices will route you through the ranch to the north of us if you are coming from I-5 (Blackwell / hwy 99 exit).  There is NO access from that direction because of locked gates).  Use route to SCENIC AVENUE instead of GPS routing to "Willow Springs Road".  Yes, "barking Betty" will complain, but she'll get over it if you go South on Hwy 99 and take 7 Oaks Road or Scenic Avenue!!

Nearby hotels / motels and camping (RV) are provided by Google Maps at www.pcime.com/links/links.htm under "Places to Stay".  I'll have information on the "Links" page for local restaurants, events, entertainment, and places of interest.

Don (KQ6FM) and Judy (KE6GIW) will be the poolside DJ with all his oldies.  There will be a couple hundred watts of sound for all to enjoy.  Dancing is encouraged or just sit back and enjoy Don's "Wolfman" impersonation and collection of great oldies.

As usual, there will be an "auction" of ham equipment (Radios, parts, test equipment) as part of the party festivities.  And... Tina and Cheri are encouraging those non-hams who have special "crafts" that they would like to display or trade, to bring those too.  Please email tina@pcime.com for more information.
